It may only be at #99, but I'll take it.
Due to the mysteries of Amazon categories, I'm "charting" in adult SF, not young adult SF. Which bothers me not in the slightest, since many people who enjoy the book are actually adults.
I particularly love that Open Minds is sandwiched between Stranger in a Strange Land and Lucifer's Hammer - two books (and three authors) from the many SF titles I devoured in my youth.
Open Minds may fade off the bestseller list tomorrow, but for today, I'm doing a small happy dance in my living room.

Congrats!! That's wonderful news.

ReplyDeleteThanks RaShelle! :)
DeleteOh man, Susan. This is fantastic. I've been meaning to talk to you more about changing up your categories, because with the good sales you've had you should be in the top 100 of just about any SUB category (niche category) you want. But I guess if you can get in the top 100 of a main category, who needs the niche ones!
ReplyDeleteThanks Dale! I've been back and forth with Amazon about the categories and finally decided not to mess with it anymore just last week. And then this happens! :) *more happy dance* Thanks for stopping by!!
DeleteAwesome news, Susan! Especially since it isn't a new release. That means your readership is growing! Woo-hoo!
ReplyDeleteCONGRATS, Susan, and well deserved!
