Was it because my lovely French friend (who had an e-ARC of Open Minds) posted a review on Amazon.fr? It's certainly due to the fact that the French are just starting to buy books there, so it doesn't take much in sales to get on the bestseller list. Yet, I have to admit to being thrilled at being anywhere near Hunger Games on the Bestseller list anywhere in the world!
Merci to my French friends!
p.s. UPDATE: Open Minds is also #6 on the SF&F list in Germany! :)

Wow! that's pretty awesome.
ReplyDelete*throws confetti!*
Thanks Anna! :)
ReplyDeleteWow and above Divergent! Awesome!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I'm sure it will change, but I'm loving the moment! :)
ReplyDeleteI don't care what that's a list of or how it came to be, having your book between Mockingjay and Divergent is a beautiful, beautiful thing.
ReplyDelete@Adam It pretty much makes my month. :)

ReplyDelete@Claire Merci! And yes, that's the limits of my French. Thanks for stopping by!
Oooh congratulations. Did you read it in French to see if the language had changed at all?
ReplyDelete@Michael No, it's still in English. There a plenty of English-reading types in Europe, surprisingly. Although I know some people who are looking at getting translations for their work, once there's enough demand. :) Thanks for stopping by!
ReplyDeleteHuge congrats, Sue! Best seller in two countries, woo hoo! And soon it will be a best seller in the U.S., too!
ReplyDelete@Lyn Of course, I hope so! That's what I'm asking Santa for Christmas! :)
